An enormous body of trans-national and trans-disciplinary experience and expertise is available within food chain projects supported by the European Commission or through national funding channels. These projects include researchers, industry, regulators and policy makers and so there will be considerable added-value and mutual benefit from establishing close contacts between these activities and the ETP.
